Kayaking ... rainy start, lovely ending!

A rainy, cloudy forecast on August 23 discouraged most paddlers who planned to join our "annual kayak excursion"  down the Bass River. But 3 of us intrepid souls (Deb, Ian, and Terry) showed up, and after sitting out a 45-minute rain shower in the car talking "ski talk," we were anxious to hit the water.
We decided to paddle up river (against a bit of a current) to beyond the Rt 6 highway bridge.  With beautiful conservation areas along the river, it was a serene paddle, with no rain, very few boats, and a relaxed pace. Truly a lovely day in spite of the forecast.

lobster boat dinner & sunset cruise ... fun!

What a beautiful night for a cruise out of Sesuit Harbor! Fun group and delicious boiled lobster, lobster roll, or prime rib dinner with corn-on-the-cob and potatoes! A lovely sunset opposite the waxing full moon! A splendid evening! Thanks, Deb Schilling!

Annual banquet ... new location, same fun!

Social Chair, Deb Schilling, put together another great Annual Banquet & General Meeting for 2026 ... and found a new location! A fun group of members and guests joined for voting in of 2026-2027 Officers and other announcements. Then, it was a banquet dinner followed by The Johns who always get us all up to dance!

Outgoing Board Treasurer, Pat Burnham, was recognized for her 5 years of service to the Club and awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award! Pat's meticulous records and attention to detail served the Club and its members well! Thank you, Pat!
